V imenu ekipe 4ocean vam želim veliko lepih, nepozabnih skupnih trenutkov.
Today at 10.30 Slovenian time, David Sineau crossed the finish line onboard Bretagne Lapins as the runner up to Yves Le Blevec on Actual. His gap is 14 hours and 35 minutes and his total time for first and second leg is 24 days, 59 minutes and 22 seconds. Sineau is also probably the runner up in the overall standings.
After his victory Le Blevec said, that he feels like in a dream, but he also said that the victroy didn’t just fall from the sky. It is only after two years of really hard work that he can enjoy every moment of this big day for him: “there were times when I was afraid not to break something on the boat, but I knew that I had to push very hard to stay infront of the competition. The others were very fast and very motivated.”
There is no reason to panic regarding the still missing positions of Kristian and Andraž. Vid Jeranko, the sailing coach of team Adria4ocean is on his way to Salvador today and he promissed to keep us informed. Jure Jerman says that Kristian’s ETA is probably tonight and Andraž’s is some 5 hours after that. Speaking of Andraž… congratulations to the new uncle, who will find out about the new addition when he crosses the finish line. Ofcourse my sincere congratulations also to Barbi, Gorazd and Manca, the whole Mihelin family and lastly but not leastly… Gašper, welcome among us! On behalf of team 4ocean, my wish for you is lots of unforgetable moments spent together.
